Great American Main Street Award Banners

In celebration of Biddeford winning the Great American Main Street Award I was able to collaborate with Heart of Biddeford to create some pole banners advertising this incredible achievement!

When I first started working on this project, everything I did looked just too corporate and didn’t capture the feeling of our eclectic and creative downtown. So I went a little off script, because that’s what I do! I decided to make a background that invoked a mosaic feel, using National Main Street’s coloring, but creating something that fit together like a colorful puzzle, which is how I see my city- One crazy, colorful puzzle that keeps growing and becoming more and more beautiful and inspiring with each passing project.

I’m so proud of how the design turned out and I’m so excited to see these hanging along downtown in the home I love so much!
